Who are we and what do we offer?

Created by a team passionate about wellness, travel and internet, Spanity wants to offer spagoers the most comprehensive source of information, inspiration and promotion of Spa and Wellness services on the Web.

Launched in Bangkok, Spanity brings you on a discovery tour of the most beautiful spas and relaxing therapies in Thailand. And this is just the beginning, more countries across Asia – Pacific are coming soon.

What kind of Spas may I find on Spanity?

We aim at proposing you a full rang of the best spas from Midscale to Luxury in all major areas of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Hua Hin. Other destinations in Thailand and Asia will follow soon.

Our selection of Spas includes not only the Day and Hotel spas, but also Medical Spas, Destination Spas, Yoga, Pilates, Fitness centres…

What is the difference between Spanity Partners and the other spas listed?

Spanity Spa Partners are a selection of the best spas in town hand picked and checked by our team. Identified by a specific coloured logo, our Spas Partners offers you a selection of their best treatments and promotions that you can discover on their dedicated page along with a detailed presentation, high quality pictures and reviews. Spanity Spas Partners accept all our Spanity Gift Certificates. Some of them also propose online booking for their treatments and promotions. You can find the list of our Spanity Partners by using the corresponding filter in the search result page.

The other spas listed that are not Spanity Partners are another selection of Spas identified on your destination that we find interesting to list. Their dedicated page has more limited information in terms of description, location but allows you to share your experience by submitting reviews. By providing such feedbacks, you will allow other spa-goers to make up their mind about those spas, and you will also allow us to identify your preferred place that might become very quickly a new Spanity Partner! 
What kind of offers and promotions can I find on Spanity?

Our Spanity partners are offering you a selection of their best treatments and promotions. Each offer is detailed with a description available on the search result page or at each spa page.

Promotions are detailed with a promotion message and can have whether a price discount and/or an added value mentioned in the promotion message and the description of the offer.

Each offer and promotion have a validity date mentioned in the description and on the corresponding gift certificate issued.

What can I do with the treatments and promotions featured on Spanity.com?

If you are interested by a treatment or promotion proposed by one of our Spa Partner, you can whether book this offer online, if the Spa Partner proposes the online booking for this offer, or you can buy a certificate corresponding to this offer. If you want to offer this treatment, your certificate can be personalized and sent directly to the recipient by email.

How does the online booking work?

The online booking allows you to book your appointment for a selection of treatments and offers with instant confirmation. It means that as soon as you have some availability for an offer, you can book it immediately and don’t need to wait for any confirmation for the spa. Our spa partners actually update the availability for their offers on our extranet making this process as efficient as possible for both you and them.

Are the prices displayed inclusive or exclusive of service charge and tax?

No bad surprise when it comes to pay!! 

All our prices displayed on Spanity are inclusive of all service charge and taxes.

 

What is the best price guarantee policy? What happens if I find a better deal at the Spa?

With Spanity, you are guaranteed to get the best prices on the treatments and deals selected.

If you find the same treatment or package available at the Spa at a lower price and within the same validity period as the one mentioned on our Website, we will reimburse you the difference.

In order to ease your search, all our offers are also classified in treatment types (ex: massages, facials, body treatments…) and treatments (ex: for massage : aromatherapy, Swedish massage, Thai massage…).

Online Booking
How can I book a treatment or an offer online?
The treatments or promotions you can book online are identified with a button “Book now”. You just need to click on it and a popin will show you the available slots as well as offer conditions. Select your date and time, enter your preferences (if any), add the booking to your shopping cart and finalize your order with your information details. Once done, you receive immediately a confirmation email with a voucher and the detail of your booking and offer.
Do I need to wait for the spa response to confirm my booking?
No need to wait to get your confirmation! Our Spa Partners update directly the availability for their offers in our extranet. So the date and time available you see correspond to real availability. Once your booking is finalized, you get automatically and immediately your confirmation by email. Your booking details and voucher are also available through your account on Spanity.com.
Do I have to pay online to book a treatment?

Depending on the offer conditions, you may be required to pay your booking on Spanity.com to confirm your appointment. If the offer conditions do not require pre-payment, you can finalize your booking without providing any payment details and will have to pay directly at the spa.

The payment conditions are detailed in the booking popin you get after clicking on. You will find them as well in the shopping cart, and on the confirmation email and voucher you receive once you have finalized your booking. These conditions are actually set up directly by our Spa Partners on our extranet. They are the ones to decide which offer can be booked online or not and what are the payment conditions. 

I have not received my confirmation email. What can I do?

Once you have finalized your booking and order, a confirmation email is automatically and immediately sent to the email address you have mentioned during the booking process. If you do not receive any confirmation email, please check the spam folder or your mailbox (some email providers may enforce very strict automatic spam filter rules which may prevent you from receiving this email in your inbox).

If you cannot find the confirmation email in you inbox and your spam folder, you can retrieve at any time your booking voucher by connecting to your Account on Spanity.com. There, click on the “My bookings” tab to find your booking details and link to download your booking voucher. You can check in the Account Information tab, that the email address you have provided is correct.

What do I need to bring to the spa for my appointment?
The confirmation email and the booking voucher are both proof of valid confirmation. If you have pre-paid your booking on Spanity.com, you can print one of them and bring them to the spa, or you can forward the confirmation email should the spa required it.
Can I modify or cancel the booking?

Yes, you can modify or cancel your booking on Spanity.com. Connect to your account (the link “My Account” is located in the upper part / bar of the website) and click on the “My Bookings tab”. You will find for each confirmed bookings a button to modify or cancel your booking. Please refer to the Offer Conditions mentioned on your booking confirmation and voucher, as some charge may apply.

Alternatively, you can contact directly the spa to change your appointment, but please note that this change will not be updated on Spanity.com.
If I have paid to book online and need to cancel, how can I be refund?
Depending on the cancelation policy set up by the spa in the Offer Conditions and the delay between the cancellation request and the appointment time, a charge may apply. If a charge applies, we will proceed to the reimbursement, on the credit card used for the payment, for the difference with the amount paid. If no charge applies, you will be reimbursed for the whole amount paid. Please note that few days may be required to finalize this reimbursement (including the delay required by the payment gateway provider to transfer the money on your account).
What happens if the spa cannot honor a confirmed booking?

Should the spa face any unexpected event, which would prevent the booking to be honoured at the date and time initially confirmed, the spa can propose you another date and / or time. Alternatively, we can assist you in booking a similar offer at another spa. Should neither of these options fit your needs, we would propose you whether a reimbursement for the whole amount paid or a credit for your next booking.

What is a Value Gift Certificate?

Value Gift Certificate is a voucher that can be redeemed for a specific amount within our network of Spa Partners. You may select the amount you wish on the gift certificates page.

Value gift certificates are valid for one year after their issuing date, and can be used for any kind of treatments and promotions proposed by our Spa Partners.
What is a Treatment Gift Certificate?

Treatment Gift Certificate is a voucher that can be redeemed for a specific treatment or promotion proposed by one of our Spa Partners.

The validity of the certificate is linked to the validity of the offer proposed by the Spa and mentioned on the Voucher. But Don’t worry if you have missed the deadline, you may exchange your certificate with another certificate of the same amount within 30 days after the expiration of the offer. You may change your offer online (see FAQ below) or contact us at contact@spanity.com.

How can I personalize my gift certificate?

If you wish to offer a certificate, you may personalize it once you have added it in your shipping cart: first you may enter a small text for the beneficiary of the gift. Then, select an image corresponding to the occasion: gift, birthday, anniversary, holidays, congratulations, St Valentine’s day…Last, you may send the certificate directly to your beneficiary by email and you can setup on which date it will be sent.

How do I receive Spanity gift certificate?
Your Spanity gift certificate is sent automatically and immediately by email after the payment. Alternatively, you can download it from our website: connect to your account (the link “My Account” is located in the upper bar of Spanity.com). Then, click on the “My certificates” tab to find your order details and link to download your certificate.
What is the validity date of my gift certificate?

Value gift certificates are valid for one year after their issuing date.

The validity of treatment certificate is linked to the validity of the offer proposed by the Spa and mentioned on the Voucher. If you have missed the deadline, you may exchange your certificate with another certificate of the same amount within 30 days after the expiration of the offer. For any exchange please contact us at contact@spanity.com.
How can I redeem my value gift certificate?

You have 2 ways of redeeming your value certificate. You can first use it to pay any order on Spanity.com. To use your certificate as payment, add the offers you would like to buy or book to your shopping cart, then enter in the “promotional code” field your certificate number. Click on apply and the voucher amount will be deducted from your order amount. If the value of your voucher is superior to your order amount, then the system will generate and send you automatically a new certificate corresponding to the difference.

Then, you can also redeem it in all our Spanity partners accepting Spanity Gift Certificates. Spanity Partners are identified by a distinctive coloured logo .You can find the list of Spanity Partners on our website by selecting the corresponding filter on the search page. Once you have selected your Spa and booked your appointment, you must print your gift certificate and present it upon arrival to the Spa.
How can I redeem my treatment gift certificate?

You have 3 ways of redeeming your value certificate. First, you can use it to book your appointment on Spanity.com. Go to the Gift Certificate page, click on the tab “Use your gift certificate”, then you just need to enter your certificate number, click on “Book now” and follow the booking process.

A second option is to use your certificate to pay any order on Spanity.com. To use your certificate as payment, add the offers you would like to buy or book to your shopping cart, then enter in the “promotional code” field your certificate number. Click on apply and the voucher amount will be deducted from your order amount. If the value of your voucher is superior to your order amount, then the system will send you automatically a new certificate with an amount corresponding to the price difference.

Last, you may redeem it for the offer and spa selected for this certificate. Contact details and directions to go to this location are detailed on your certificate. Once you have booked your appointment, you must print your gift certificate and present it upon arrival to the Spa. Alternatively, you can send it by email to the spa prior before your appointment.

How can I find Spanity Spa Partners to redeem my certificate?
Spanity Spa Partners are a selection of the best spas in town hand picked and checked by our team. They are Identified by a specific coloured logo. You can find the list of our Spanity Partners by using the corresponding filter in the search result page.

 

Can I give my gift certificate to someone else?
Yes, Spanity gift certificates can be given and used by another person than the initial beneficiary. However, gift certificates cannot be resold or duplicated. Any unauthorized resale or duplication will invalidate the certificate.
What happens if the value of my gift certificate is different from the price of the treatment provided?
f the price of the service or good is superior to the certificate value, you shall pay the difference directly to the Spanity Partner. If the price of the service or good is less than the certificate value, any unused balance will be converted to credit available only for services or goods provided by the same Spanity Partner.
Can I change my Treatment Gift Certificate?

Yes, if you wish to change of treatment or spa, Spanity Gift Certificates can be exchanged up to 30 days after their validity date for any other treatments of the same price offered by the same or another Spa Partner.

Are gift certificates refundable?

 No, Spanity Gift Certificates cannot be refunded and cannot be redeemed for cash.

I have not received my certificate by email. What can I do?

Once you have finalized your order, a confirmation email and an email with voucher attached are automatically and immediately sent to the email address you have mentioned during the order process. If you do not receive any confirmation email, please check the spam folder or your mailbox (some email providers may enforce very strict automatic spam filter rules which may prevent you from receiving this email in your inbox).

How to post a review?

You can post a review on the "Reviews" tab located in the Spa page. You must create an account or identify with your account before being able to post a review.

Who can post a review?

Only customer having experienced a treatment or service may post review for the corresponding spa or wellness location. By posting a review, you accept the terms & conditions of the website.

When will my review be published?
Once posted, your review will be checked by a moderator to ensure that it respects our terms & conditions before being published on the website. Such control may take few days before the validation of your review.
Can I modify my review?
No, your review cannot be modified once it has been submitted. However, you can ask for your review to be removed and then submit a new one.
Can I delete a review?
Yes, you can ask to remove a review that you have submitted by sending us an email us at contact@spanity.com.
