"Nuad Boran" (as known in Thai language) alternates deep pressures and muscle stretches into a rhythmic and constant flow of movements. The therapist guides your whole body into yoga-like postures by using his/her thumbs, hands, elbows, arms, knees and feet.

You will change into comfortable loose clothes and then lay bare feet on a mat or small mattress on the floor. Some pressures may feel uncomfortable, do not hesitate to let your therapist know. The therapist works on the whole body sometimes into awkward gestures, like pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking the knuckles, walking on your back or arching into cobra position. Although the spirit and framework stay the same, the techniques may vary from one region to another; so keep trying!
